The problem

Large infrastructure operations validate construction progress against engineering plans through field-survey workflows that are manual, slow, and error-prone — weeks of spreadsheet reconciliation per site. The deeper problem: by the time variance is detected on paper, weeks of compounding earthwork have already happened. Reliance's METL operations needed a closed-loop validation cadence at daily or sub-daily resolution.

Our approach

We built a Vision AI pipeline that ingests drone imagery on a recurring cadence and produces automated reports against engineering plans. The pipeline integrates with the client's existing drone fleet, runs ML workflows for spatial analytics in the cloud, and produces consolidated reports that replace the manual survey loop. Engineered for production reliability, with the client's ops team in control of cadence and threshold tuning.

Outcome

Pipeline delivered as a paid engagement, currently in production at METL operations. The client manages run cadence and threshold rules; we maintain the platform on retainer.

What this page does and doesn't say.

Public case-study copy describes the engagement at category level — what kind of problem we solved, what kind of platform we built, what kind of outcome it produced. It deliberately doesn't share deployment metrics, vendor partnerships, internal codenames, or specific architecture beyond what's required to evaluate fit.

On a signed NDA, in a first or second meeting, we'll share the depth — reference contacts, specific outcomes, and the architecture in detail. The first conversation is 30 minutes; reference setup happens after that.

Bring us a problem in the same shape.

Or a problem in a shape we haven't built yet. Both are interesting. The first conversation is 30 minutes, founder-led.
