You will design bottles, closures and packaging for retail products, working with the tooling and fill-line constraints from the start.
What you will own
- Bottle and closure form, through to the frosting and finish specification
- Packaging structure, and how it works with the product and the graphics
- Drop-test performance and shelf presence considered as part of the design
- Staying with the design through tooling and first-shot trials
What we need
- Three to eight years in product or packaging design for retail goods
- Bottle, closure or rigid packaging work that reached production
- Understanding of blow moulding and injection moulding constraints
- Comfort working to a landed-cost target
What helps

- Structural packaging and dieline work
- Experience of working around fill-line constraints
Being straight with you
A lot of this work is iterative. You may be on the fifth revision of a closure profile because the earlier ones will not eject cleanly.
